I have become obsessed with this 1-2 second event. I as sat drinking with my father as he was about to turn 60 at midnight and then he had his back turned to the whole thing! The closest I can get to describing this is the Millenium Falcon going into hyperspace or the Delorean hitting 88mph. I hope this has helped in some way.

The rain was as bright as the explosion that followed. It all seemed to disappear at the same time, but I could still see the flashing in my eyes when I looked away. The train appeared out of nowhere and seemed to start all of a sudden in the sky.

About a second after it appeared, it then seemed to explode and disappear. The exposion was diamond/triangle shaped from the angle I was looking.
