BemerkungenI was talking on the phone when I saw the meteor, and didn't think to look at a clock until the call ended (I'm sorry!), so I'm not entirely sure of the timing - it was sometime between ~8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., though. Also, although I did try to listen for any booms afterwards, and I didn't hear any, it's possible that my and my friend's voices and/or general household noise drowned out any meteor sounds.

BemerkungenI think that's what I saw? The apparently largest/brightest part of the meteor looked like a bright green ~sphere, but there was a short gold spattery-looking trail behind it (so, because the meteor looked like it was basically diving straight at the horizon from my vantage point, the gold trail was higher above the horizon than the green sphere). The trail didn't really linger after the green ~sphere part left my field of view, though.
